Our story

What began as a hobby in 1997 with just three hives has grown into a true family tradition. Josh fondly remembers his grandpa keeping bees, a passion that’s been passed down and grown through the years. Today, every member of the family plays a role. Josh’s dad, Harold, works the bee yards, extracts honey, and helps sell at local farmers markets. Our son, Klay, assists in the bee yards and with bottling, while the girls, Mollie, Ava, Emma and Krystal hand-bottle and label every jar and create beeswax candles, chapstick, and lotion sticks.

We now care for around 600 hives across multiple bee yards, producing Wildflower, Sourwood, Blackberry, and Orange Blossom honey. Our products are sold at local festivals, farmers markets, and in several local stores, including Ingles throughout surrounding counties.

Family-raised honey, from the hive to your home.
